*****FLOOD RELIEF INFORMATION*****
DLAC may be able to help you if you are a person with a disability or a family member who is experiencing disability-related issues due to the recent flooding in Tennessee. We can provide information and referral about issues such as:
- People who are turned away from emergency shelters due to being assisted by service animals
- People whose communication needs (sign language interpreters, alternate formats, etc.) are not being met by emergency shelters or other service providers
- Loss of durable medical equipment
- Loss of prescription medication
- Loss of Social Security check or inability to get to location where the check was mailed
These are only examples. We will try to help with other issues as well. Please contact us at 1-800-342-1660.
